Ringing in another year, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted keeping busy on his 25th birthday in Madrid, Spain on Friday (February 5).

The soccer star kicked things off by attending the signing of an agreement between Real Madrid FC and Madrid City Council to improve a social program with senior people and immigrants.

Once finished up with his press duties, Ronaldo then visited a local shopping center, a bank and a nearby eatery before returning back home.

Meanwhile, Cristiano was unfortunate in the fact that he was denied his birthday wish of playing in Madrid’s game against Espanyol on Saturday, as his two game suspension was not lifted as hoped.

Prior to receiving news that he will be sitting out of the action, he told press, “The best gift I could get is to be allowed to play against Espanyol.”
