Alexa Ray Joel, the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, reportedly was released from the hospital this morning after being rushed there yesterday afternoon.

There are rumors Alexa attempted suicide by overdosing on pills, but those rumors are unconfirmed. A friend of Alexa’s said she had only taken a homeopathic antihistamine called Traumeel.

I don’t know what happened, but regardless, I’m glad to hear Alexa’s improved enough to be released.

This does make me think about homeopathic treatments, though. I know some people think they are far healthier than prescription medications, but it’s easy to forget that they can be just as powerful as prescriptions!
